No computers were used in the making of this record!

"Day Fever" was recorded in 2015 at Tiny Telephone Studio in San Francisco with the eccentric and wonderful producer, John Vanderslice.

We recorded all the songs over the course of a mere 10 days, entirely on tape. It was a terrifying and exhilarating experience.

Almost everything you hear is the first take - as in, I got to sing or play the song once, all the way through, no do-overs. Needless to say, it was WAY out of my comfort zone. There were tears.

But I am so grateful for John pushing me to try and catch the fragile spirit of the music, not beat the life out of it. It showed me what I am capable of and changed the way I think about music forever.
