Our new year’s day concert was overwhelming and wonderful. What a great way to start a new year!
I am so grateful for the opportunity to play the Volksbühne, and to the team and the audience for making it such a special night.
I’m back from a (relatively) technology-free week in the countryside and feeling refreshed and excited about our show at the Volksbühne in Berlin on Wednesday!
Here’s hoping you’ve all had a relaxed and happy christmas week and wishing you a brilliant new year full of joys to make you smile and challenges to make you strong.
See some of you on January 1st in Berlin, and we hope to see the rest of you someplace very soon!
PS. You can get your tickets for Wednesday’s show here!
I’m very excited to hear that the video for “Took Them Away” will be screening at the London Short Film Festival in January! Massive thanks again to the fantastic cast and crew.
Any Londonians who would like to attend can get their tickets here! .
I will be with you in spirit…
I’m really proud of this new live record and think it turned out beautifully. The orchestral arrangements make my heart soar. I hope they’ll move you too.
We had a really fun time shooting an acoustic version of ‘Took Them Away’ for ZDFneo. You can check it out online in the ZDF Mediathek here:
mmm ovomaltine with my breakfast and delicious cheese at every turn. and look at this beautiful pillar of ice and moss that i found on our way to ISC Club Bern! we love you switzerland.
thank you to everyone who came out to our concert in wil last night, and thanks in advance to all of you who are coming in bern tonight!
What an awesome concert that was last night! We had so much fun with you guys in Bielefeld. Thank you to everyone in the audience for being so cool, to Lukas Little Sister for warming the stage for us and to Falkendom for having us.
We’re about to leave for Kassel, and looking forward to playing at Schlachthof again tonight!
See you guys later…
Just one more sleep before we hit the road on tour! I’m not quite there but i’m feeling a lot better and hopefully I’ll be able to sing like a bird tomorrow (at the worst I’ll be a crow!)
Just a note to say that the gig in Kassel on Monday has been moved to Schlachthof and is no longer taking place at K19.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
I’ve put together a playlist on Spotify of great (or at least interesting) South African music spanning many decades and genres. Take a listen if you like…
I’ve been in bed for 3 whole days resting and not saying a word, trying my best to get well so that we can come and make music for you. My voice is slowly returning, but unfortunately it needs more time, and I’m still not going to be able to sing by tomorrow. I am really sorry that we won’t be able to play the Pressure Air Festival, as we were all looking forward to it.
I wish you all a great time with Kat Frankie, who is so kindly jumping in to do the gig for us, and the other bands too of course.
We hope to be able to play and sing for you very soon!
